A GREAT START TO 2017
It was a busy start to the new year for SilverLakes as we welcomed many diverse groups to the property including Cal South’s President Cup and Recreational Tournament, the Legends ID Camp and our first Ranch Riding Equestrian Event.
Here’s a look at all the activities. We look forward to welcoming you onto the property in the coming weeks and months!
We welcomed the launch of Cal South State Cup! This series is the start of soccer season as we welcome some of the best players from in and around the region for State Cup, Mayor’s Cup and Governor’s Cup. On January 31st we even welcomed our first Recreational tournament as well with Cal South! Here is a recap of the event and enjoy the video of the property so you can see the winning teams.
LEGENDS GIRLS ID CAMP
In January, we welcomed the 2017 Legend’s ID Camp. This two day camp was a se
ll out with more than 300 girls and over 30 top level coaches. This provided the girls an opportunity to interact with the top coaches in the nation. Legend’s also just recognized over 23 girls on National Signing Day as they signed on with top divisions across the nation from Berkeley to University of Riverside. View the article here.
RANCH RIDING
We also welcomed on January 28th a first for SilverLakes with Ranch Riding. This event, called “A Ranch Challenge at The Ranch at SilverLakes” attracted many first time attendees to SilverLakes to experience the arenas. Riders came from all over the region
s to compete in 3 different divisions (Novice, Amateur and Open) and 2 classes, Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail. The top 5 in each division received ribbons, with the top rider in each division receiving the coveted SilverLakes Champion Buckle.
Participants and spectators enjoyed the event and we will be launch a 3 buckle series with our first event on March 17th. Congratulations to these SilverLakes Buckle Winners!
